Flipkart recently announced its popular Big Billion Days to start from October 13 and last till October 17. Sale is for the upcoming festival season. Imagine going online and looking at the product that you have been eyeing for few weeks, the price of which has been slashed down by 70%! Yes, this can be the case during these ‘Big billion days’.
Last year this sale event was a total bust for most of the consumers. They complained of fake discounts, untimely delivery and slow response from the company’s side. But this year the company’s owner and strategist, Mukesh Bansal has promised a smooth proceedings for all the customers. In order for the exchange to ensue properly the number days for the ‘Big Billion Days’ has been stretched for a week. The sale will be especially focused on gift items and festival oriented products. They have learnt from their mistakes and have come up with better planning and determination my friends.
Unlike last year, this sale will be only available on the app orders. With every person nowadays using a smart phone, downloading the Flipkart app and ordering from there shouldn’t be a hassle at all. The app with better technology and supply chain is all ready to take in the huge inflow of customers. With more than one lakh sellers all ready to ship the selected products across the country, this year your products will be dispatched and received in time. Flipkart has also declared that Myntra will also be a part of Big Billion Days and will be presenting a curated selection from iconic fashion brands at never-before offers. Mobile phones have become the new attraction for consumers. Use that to avail amazing offers that the sale has to provide!
Speculation from the Competition Commission of India was also invited by this sale event regarding the exciting offers and price cutting. The aim of CCI is to ensure legal competition for every company in the market. The bone of contention for CCI’s involvement last year in the billion dollar sale was because of suggested predatory pricing by Flipkart in the sale. But proof of such a strategy wasn’t found. There was many complaints against the company’s response that day which also involved the CCI.
With all the upheaval surrounding this sale day it will be one of the star attractions for the consumers in the country.
