Facebook is that tech company which is in news from the last few months because of its controversies, and now people are criticizing it again for similar reasons. According to recent reports, it’s been found that Facebook is storing many of its users’ passwords is unencrypted servers which can be accessed without any protection. Brian Kreb from Krebs on security recently said that millions of users passwords are vulnerable and it had been obtained by thousands of engineers various times. If we look back, then 2018 was not good for Facebook since it went through many controversies because if data scandals and now it seems like that lousy phase is continuing this year also.

Now some experts are worried that those engineers who had access to all of this information would have used it adversely. However, this piece of bad news did not do any harm to Facebook’s shares. While talking regarding this issue, Facebook said they did not use all of these data which was accessed by engineers in any adverse manner. Now some experts think that this problem was lying there from the last few months and now suddenly everyone is talking about this is because someone has exposed it.

A few days ago Mark Zuckerberg said that company is going to give users privacy more attention and achieving privacy will be company’s first objective. Now head of Facebook is saying that they are ready to inform all those users whose passwords were in a vulnerable situation and they will urge them to change them if it’s necessary. Reportedly Facebook lite users might be facing this problem also experts are advising all those people who are using FB lite to alter their accounts passwords.
