Haidian-based Lenovo has recently launched a new set of ThinkPad range, offering lighter, thinner design sets. These products are powered by the newest 8th generation Intel Core processors. The company this time has focused more on security with some attracting features like eye tracking IR camera, fingerprint reader and new ThinkShutter Privacy camera.
In this range one can find several new products with ThinkPad series such as ThinkPad X, T and L. Highpoint of the newfangled range is the ThinkPad X1 Carbon priced at $1,281.75 onwards and X1 Yoga, costing $1,401.75 onwards. Both the products are globe’s first to provide Dolby Vision HDR support. The X1 Yoga product is listed as the world’s first to possess global LTE-A capabilities and convertible with assimilated pressure sensitive pen. Both of these laptops come with a latest ThinkShutter Camera with features like IR camera with eye tracking. While other laptops of the company in X series are ThinkPad X280 priced at $1,061.10 onwards and X380 Yoga costs you $1,223.10 onwards. Talking about the durability of these laptops, it gets a military grade in this. It also comes with a rapid charging service providing 80 percent charge in just 60 minutes. The X280 laptop has 16.6 hours battery life whereas the X380 provides 13.6 hours battery.
ThinkPad T series contains the T480 at Rs.69,000 onwards, T580 at Rs.74,000 onwards and T480 at $944.10 onwards. This range has fingerprint reader with IR camera and the latest ThinkShutter camera privacy. It weighs just 1.3kg. In the world, it’s the ThinkPad T480s which is one of the lightest business laptops available. Thinkpad T580 provides optical discrete graphics and alternatives for a UHD display.
The ThinkPad series of Lenovo has been upgraded with the L380 Yoga priced at $584.10 onwards, L480 costs $819.00 onwards, L380 priced at $584.10 and L580 at $832.50 onwards. These systems are coming to the market with optimal multi-touch and docking solutions. ThinkPad L580 is one that has an option of discrete AMD graphics.
