OnePlus has been quite good at maintaining the secrecy of its upcoming device, OnePlus 6. The company is active in launching teasers and trailers, which have been focusing on aspects such as the camera and speeds. However, all those efforts have gone in vain after an unexpected leak happened via Amazon Germany. A lot of details about the device were revealed in the leak, exposing the specifications, looks and more importantly the price. It needs to be noted that the official launch is due in a few days — on May 16th in the UK and on May 17th in India. It seems that the fans don’t have to wait till that.
The OnePlus 6 is expected to boast an AMOLED display of 6.28-inches. The screen will have a final resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 as well. The device will be available in three storage variants — 64, 128 and 256GB. While the first two versions come with 6GB of RAM, the 256GB version will have an increased RAM of 8GB. Users will have the perk of extra storage when they go for a higher-performing device. Regardless the amount of RAM, all the versions will be making use of Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.
Of course, the new device will have an improved device, overall. It should be noted that the device comes with water-resistance, but the certification levels are not revealed yet. Just like the previous version, it will have the fingerprint sensor at the back, so that OnePlus could use the perks of a bezel-less display. Indeed, OnePlus fans can expect the wonderful notch on top. Coming to the camera, dual-camera setup is seen on the rear side, one of them 20MP and another one 16MP. As far as connectivity goes, 6 packs USB Type C with the amazing Dash Charge tech from OnePlus.
