Movie streaming business is getting quite competitive, yet Netflix has managed to get to the top. However, now they want to have more dominance in this industry by having access to users data and activities. The statement released by Netflix says that they are testing how the video playback platform works when users are offline. This new feature is not rolled out for all people, but it’s been tested for only selected users.
This new feature is rolled out for Android users and will come with Android Q update, which will allow developers to have access to data or step counts. Developers said that they are going to collect user’s physical activities like walking, biking, and other sorts of moving. There were many times when Netflix asked users about their other activities. Like if you’re sitting idle, then it will ask, “Are you still watching?” And now they have further extended this feature.
