Asus has finally brought the right gaming smartphone, which is going to have some ultra super features. Asus ROG 2 is going to be launched soon, and reportedly it includes a 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, 12GB of RAM, etc. The company has given us a ROG 1 mobile world, which is a great gaming smartphone. However, now the company has taken further steps to create another gaming smartphone which will provide more unique features. Many speculations were going on about the characteristics of ROG 2, but now the official report has come out. It shows that the mobile is going to have a 6.59″, 2340x1080p, 120Hz OLED display, which is far more significant than the previous version of ROG.
The screen is made of gorilla glass, which will provide excellent toughness and shatter resistance. Asus has tried to make this phone as powerful as they can because it has Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC with a maximum 2.96GHz boost clock speed which will make this smartphone unstoppable. Along with such great processor, it also has 12GB of DDR4 RAM which will take care of high end performing games and applications. People usually want to own that phone which offers a great processor and memory, Asus ROG here provides both. It also has an internal storage of 128 GB which might be low as compared to its processor and RAM but could be expandable up to 512 GB.
Asus was working on the gaming smartphone for a long time, and it seems like they have wisely spent it. Asus ROG 2 other features include USB 3.1 Gen 2 port, a dual-lens rear camera (48mp and 13mp) plus an under-display fingerprint sensor, and two front speakers. Even though it has all of these cool features, the problem of cooling is still going to be a primary issue for its users, and they will have to deal with it.
