The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus brings an upgrade in its latest device OnePlus 6. OnePlus 6 will now run on HydrogenOS 5.1.11 operating system giving a new flavor to the smart device.
The new operating system has brought a number of fixes for games, connectivity, standby, and several other programs. Following are some of the additional improvements that OnePlus 6 holds:
- Stabilization in Wi-Fi
- Improvement in camera quality
- System enhancements
- Improvement in gaming with dual 4G
- Improvement in activating the flash
- New standby function
- Improvement in Bluetooth car connectivity and offered more stability
- Fixation in sound issues previously faced (game sounds are very slow or sometimes even inaudible after microphone activation)
This is indeed a whole and sole replacement package deal. Previous HydrogenOS 5.1.8 of OnePlus incurred battery drainage issues. This problem might get fixed in the upcoming software update. The battery will take less time for charging. The repairing may come under new standby function. The camera clarity would function similar to the oil painting effect that OnePlus 5T recently fixed in its latest software update.
Gaming improvements would be better. This update might show how prodigious the device is for gaming. HydrogenOS is the basic operating systems of the smartphones manufactured in China while OxygenOS works for the rest of the world.
Both of them function alike. The only difference is that HydrogenOS does not contain any core Google apps and providers while OxygenOS contains all of them. Probably, OxygenOS might see the similar changes made in the Chinese oriented operating system.
Devices that demand OxygenOS 5.1.8 and above might enthusiastically wait for the improvement in the battery issue. We just need to wait and watch if OnePlus can release a software update better than the OxygenOS or not.
The company has promised to release a new stable build this or upcoming week. Hence, it may function similar to the changelog made in the previous one.
