The flagship killer manufacturer hasn’t been so successful in keeping the specs or design a secret till launch, since a recent leak had exposed what it had inside. Despite that, OnePlus 6 has been launched by the giant, noted for affordable prices and out-of-the-box specifications. Just like its predecessors, OnePlus 6 packs an impressive number of features, but more importantly an even premium build. While all the previous versions of OnePlus were built based on Aluminum, OnePlus 6 has gone for an all-glass construction. It comes with a Gorilla glass panel — on the front and the back. It surely gives the device a premium outlook.
Three color variants are available for OnePlus 6 — Mirror Black, Midnight Black and Silk White. Thanks to its glass-based designs, all the colors give an accentual look for the device. Another addition to the design will be the notch on top. But, OnePlus has also added an option to disable the notch if users are not interested, but it will reduce the screen size by a bit. It should also be noted that OnePlus 6 display is bigger than we’d expected. At 6.28 inches, the device can perform well with video-playback and more. In order to attain the 19:9 screen ratio, the fingerprint sensor has been maintained at the back.
Under the hood, OnePlus 6 offers some really serious specifications, as they were reported by the leak. The device runs on Snapdragon 845 and comes with two RAM variants — 6GB and 8GB. Users can also pick from the three storage variants — 64, 128 and 256GB, and the RAM availability also depends on that. The battery has been kept at 3300mAh. Coming to the camera, the rear camera module has two sensors now —one of 16MP and another one of 20MP, but both have the same focal length, to most people’s surprise. The prices would start at $529 for the 64GB-6GB version.
