PUBG Is Falling Short, Says Developer, Thanks to Fortnite

PUBG and Fortnite has been in a face-to-face competition for some time, since both the survival games had a few awesome features inside. However, in the past year, there has been a number of upper-hands by the latter, thanks to the better development and support. Epic Games has been coming up with superb updates on a regular basis too. It was reported recently that Fornite is now getting more than $1 Million from its iOS app only, and is all set to launch the Android version soon. It also proves that PUBG has been falling short as it has been admitted by the developers.

This was revealed in an official blog post from PUBG Corp, who said that more development and care would be given for the battle-royale game, which is available for multiple platforms including Android and iOS. It’s also having some plans to expand the gameplay and include better content on a regular basis. PUBG said it would be hiring some developers who can enhance the gameplay experience, as to compete with others. In spite of the fact that PUBG hasn’t specified the reason why the game is falling short, it’s clear that the overall success of Fortnite has played an important role.

While the company is trying to say that the game is falling short, PUBG is not losing popularity. On the other hand, more people have been following the game in the past month. The developers announced that a new map in the game, Sanhok, will be made available to everyone by the end of June, along with many newer features on the way. Its availability on Android is indeed a great thing, but things may change when Fortnite launches the Android app in some time soon. With the developments on the track, it’s sure that users would see some worthy upgrades in the game soon.
