Samsung is heading towards world’s first ever quad camera smartphone. It’s upcoming teaser Samsung Galaxy A9 will sport four rear cameras. With the help of this camera, users can capture more of the scenes and emphasis more on detail.
Samsung Galaxy A9 is already been launched in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It comes with 6.3-inch display size and has four cameras at the rear end altogether of 24MP primary sensor and selfie camera of 24MP. It has the focal length of the f/1.7 lens and two times more zoom telephoto lens. There comes an additional 5MP depth sensor camera having artificial bokeh.
Both the cameras work on Intelligent Scene Optimizer, part of Artificial Intelligence principle. Other specifications include 1,080X2,220px resolution, AMOLED display, octa-core processor with 6GB and 8GB RAM size, 128GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 512 GB and 3,800 mAh battery.
The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. There come supplementary add-ons including Health, Samsung Pay, and Bixby. The screen can be split into various parts to perform multiple tasks at a single point of time. Till now, all these features rolled out as a part of the software. However, in this upcoming device, Samsung plans to incorporate all the features in the hardware.
The rear end of the phone consists of the fingerprint sensor and 3D curved glass for enhanced ergonomics. 162.5mm, 77mmand 7.8mm are the respective length, breadth and height of the device and weighs up to 183g.
Different sensors present on the device includes a geomagnetic sensor, accelerometer, hall sensor, RGB light sensor, gyro sensor, and proximity sensor. Alongside, it supports Samsung Pay via NFC. However, the device will be available starting next month in the selected markets only. Price of the device is still not disclosed however different astounding colors of the smartphone includes Lemonade Blue, Caviar Black, and Bubblegum Pink.
