Samsung Reportedly Working On an Exciting, iPhone X Killer Smartphone

Samsung, the Korean electronics manufacturer known for various products, has always been active in getting new technologies to the forefront. It’s another question whether Samsung products succeed in popularizing the products though. Following the same trail, new reports have emerged that Samsung is working on a new smartphone that can be more exciting than iPhone X. According to the various sources, and the information about the patents given to Samsung, the company is now working on a smartphone with Transparent display. While the concept of transparent display is new to the consumers, companies have been working on it for a long time.

To consider the case of Samsung, the company had hinted at the development of transparent displays back in 2015 itself. In the course of three years, Samsung has not only enhanced the tech but also patented the same so that it can be used in a smartphone. In case you are wondering, Samsung is not the only company that has showcased transparent displays. Panasonic, for one, had shown one of these devices in an event of 2016. Now, with respect to the information regarding the patents and everything else, there is a sure chance that Samsung is working on a smartphone display that can be transparent in practice.

That having said, there is no surety that Samsung would launch this device in near-future or even in years. It has become customary and common for companies to keep working on innovative tech like this. However, if launched, the transparent display can transform how people use smartphone and especially Augmented Reality. This will work by enabling only a few pixels on the screen and making the other parts transparent, which would help the graphical elements to blend into the environment. It also needs to be noted that there is no confirmation from Samsung’s side regarding this report.
